We're
starting off 2016 by looking back...well, checking back in, really,
with Dutch beauty Marloes Horst. The last time we got to know Horst and
her unforgettable Instagram feed
she was a jet-set model with a deep-seated love for her dog, Double
Stuf Oreos, and a desire to see the Northern Lights. Okay, so she's
still a jet-set model but this time around, Horst can claim two
photogenic dogs under her watch and plenty of cameos by boyfriend,
actor Alex Pettyfer. (She still has to get that Northern Lights trip out
of the way, though.) Truth be told, we're glad not too much has changed
from one of our favorite model's feeds; if it did, we'd be without a
seemingly endless scroll on behind-the-scenes snaps from Victoria's
Secret shoots and Horst's bikini-clad off-duty beach days. If you're not

How are you feeling today?
I’m feeling good – excited for 2016 and rested as Christmas has just been—it’s the holiday I look forward to all year long!
What are you wearing?
Jeans, tank top, and my favorite leather jacket.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a village called Akkrum. That's in the northern part of the Netherlands.
Where are you at this exact moment?
West Hollywood, walking my dog Frank.
What song is your guilty pleasure?
Any song from Dirty Dancing!
What is your mantra?
Carpe diem. Seize the moment, be aware of your fortunes that you have
right now. Worrying about tomorrow is just a waste of time.
Where have you never been but want to go?
Easter Island. It has always fascinated me. I’d also love to see the northern lights!
Do you read the comments on your Instagram?
Sometimes.
Favorite book from high school?
It’s a Dutch book called “Komt een vrouw bij de dokter“ which translates
to “A Woman Arrives at the Doctors Office.“ The book is from the point
of view of a husband his experience of living with his ill wife. It’s a
true and gripping story.
What TV show should everyone be watching?
Penny Dreadful.
What’s your go-to drink at the bar?
I like a cool glass of white wine.
Poolside or beachside?
Beachside, I love laying in the sand and the whole beach experience.
Although I do love swimming in a pool better, the sea can be a bit
unpredictable!
